ARMITAGE, George G. - (Valued Member of the I.E.E.E.). Peacefully at York County Hospital, Newmarket on Monday, October 29, 1990. George, aged 80 years, devoted husband of the late Margaret (Peg). Caring father of Ken, Joanne and Kimberly. Dear grandfather of Jamie, Robin, Alex, Andrew and Karyn. Brother of the late Drummond. George was a proud and creative man who had an enthusiasm for life. Friends may call between 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding south of Steeles). Service in the Chapel on Thursday 11 a.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the A.L.S. Society would be appreciated.
