Dan Coode is the Treasurer of the IEEE Canadian Foundation and Chair of its Finance and Investment Advisory Committees. A dedicated volunteer with over 25 years of service to the engineering community, Dan has held past leadership roles at all levels of the IEEE, most notably serving as the Treasurer of IEEE Canada. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a member of the IEEE-HKN honor society.

Professionally, Dan is the Vice President, Terrestrial at Calian. He leads the strategy and development of terrestrial communication products, with a specialized focus on the evolution of DOCSIS technology. Through his involvement with CableLabs working groups and interoperability events, Dan plays a key role in advancing cable access solutions and test product portfolios. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
