At the McNaughton Center, we realize that there is more to life then schoolwork. This is why we provide comforts for students, who can forget this sometimes. We have a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave that remind students to eat when studying long hours. These services are free of charge, although we do keep a collection dish for coffee and filter purchase. The McNaughton Center computer also provides a place for IEEE members to check their e-mail and browse the Internet without having to brave the crowded computer labs. For extremely leisurely times, we keep the Center stocked with playing cards and a radio. We think that these things help to make the Center more accessible to students and promote the idea of IEEE student involvement to students at all levels.
