About Grants and Scholarships - and how to apply

Scholarships   Canadian IEEE student branch counsellors can nominate an exceptional student registered in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering or a Technology programme, for their final year of undergraduate studies, for an IEEE Canadian Foundation Scholarship - $421,683 in 178 scholarships awarded since 1985

Centre Grants   Canadian IEEE student branches can apply for funds to establish an IEEE McNaughton Learning Resource Centre or to upgrade an existing Centre - $388,641 in 99 grants awarded since 1980

Special Grants   Individuals can apply for an IEEE Canadian Foundation Special Grant in support of education - $379,357 in 129 grants awarded since 1958

Endowed Scholarships, Grants and Prizes   Awards endowed by Directed Gifts - full details - $8,350 in 8 grants awarded since 2004

Applications   You can either apply/nominate by mailing documents as described in the pages linked above or you may use our on-line services - linked from the left side panel. Reports   All grants are awarded with the condition that the recipient will submit reports to the foundation as described in the linked guidelines page.
