Slawo Wesolkowski is a Senior Analyst at Vantage Point International where he is managing a pilot project to demonstrate the feasibility of marine winds monitoring on Canada's coasts. In the past, he has worked for NCR, Nortel, Defence R&D Canada, Moteurs Leroy-Somer (France), the University of Waterloo, and the National Research Council of Canada. He holds six patents. He obtained both BASc and MASc degrees in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is currently finishing a PhD at the University of Waterloo. He has been an IEEE volunteer since 1995.
